Workshops

In the last 10 years conservators, collection managers, cleaning staff, other museum staff and students of conservation have visited my IPM courses and workshops in Austria, Germany, Switzerland, France, Sweden, Hungary, Iran, Oman and Hone Kong. The workshops are one – five days long (usually 3) and combine theoretical lectures, practical work, monitoring, literature, identification of pest insects and demonstration of treatment methods. A reference collection of the most important pests can be prepared in the course. The aim of the workshops is to start an IPM program independently and learn the basic preventive measures.
